1. Turtle Island Resort, Fiji

Bula! This resort definitely tops my list! Set in South Pacific’s Yasawa Archipelago, this resort only has space for 14 couples which makes for wonderful serenity. By limiting the number of guests at the resort, it is able to sustain the natural beauty. If you’re looking for somewhere to watch movies – this resort is not for you! You won’t find any televisions here, just over 500,000 trees which were planted during a 28 year reforestation program. The kitchen is stocked from the resorts own all organic garden, providing guests with fresh fruit and vegetables.

2. Lapa Rios Eco Lodge, Costa Rica

Listed in the National Geographic Top 50 Eco Lodges List, this resort is leading the way of environmentally conscious resorts. Set in a private nature reserve spread over 1,000 acres of Central America’s last remaining lowland tropical rainforest in Costa Rica, Lapa Rios is a destination matching everyone’s idea of paradise. Lapa Rios is an ideal vacation for people who enjoy adventure in nature and want to be a part of conservation and local culture. Aside from lounging by the magnificent beaches and pools, activities available to guests include wildlife watching, hikes, ocean kayaking, horseback riding and tree planting (to symbolize the growing love of newly married couples – love it!) and so much more.

3. Chumbe Island Coral Park, Tanzania

Honeymooners will appreciate Coral Park’s solar powered lighting and composting toilets in each of the gorgeous eco-bungalows sprawled across the 16-acre Island. The best part, is the hotel fee includes everything except alcoholic beverages, so it doesn’t break the bank when you want to do activities like snorkeling and forest walks during your stay!
